Trieste (Trieste in Trieste, Trst in Slovenian) is an Italian city of 204 257 inhabitants, capital of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.

Losinj is an island in Croatia in the upper Adriatic. Located in the southern part of the Kvarner archipelago, it is part of the coastal-mountainous region.
